For the first time, Chongqing Expressway adopts 3D intelligent paving technology with a paving error of no more than 3mm

2023-04-18

On April 17, at the paving site of Hechuan Bishan Jiangjin Expressway (hereinafter referred to as Hebijin Expressway), Group 2, Hupu Village, Guangpu Town, Bishan District, a giant paver stably spread cement on the pavement, and several rollers rolled the pavement back and forth, while a brand new expressway extended far behind. "What is working is a 3D intelligent paver." Zhao Jingguang, the project manager, said that the Hebi Tianjin Expressway is the first expressway in Chongqing that uses digital 3D control technology to pave the pavement. It is understood that the paver is equipped with a 3D intelligent paving system, a 360 ° active prism, and a high-precision robotic intelligent total station technology. The operator only needs to input the elevation, coordinates, width and other data of the paved pavement structure layer into the system half an hour in advance, and the system can achieve accurate paving according to the parameters, which is equivalent to 3D "printing" the pavement. The entire road surface laying error does not exceed 3mm, and a road surface with a designed thickness of 79 centimeters can achieve millimeter precision level control, which is very impressive. "Du Yongsheng, the on-site project measurement leader of China Railway 19th Bureau, introduced that using 3D paving, only two measurement personnel are responsible for system control and detection on site. It can be laid for about 1.5 kilometers per day, with an efficiency improvement of 1/3 compared to traditional methods. Moreover, it overcomes the shortcomings of traditional paving such as uneven paving and relatively poor flatness, greatly improving the quality of road paving. The project also applies an intelligent collision avoidance safety assistance system and an OBD intelligent terminal monitoring system. The on-site operation roller equipped with an intelligent anti-collision safety assistance system detects the distance between people, vehicles, and objects (moving objects) through millimeter wave radar sensing. When the radar detects obstacles within a one meter range, the electronic control system will force the equipment to brake to avoid collisions. The OBD intelligent terminal monitoring system can remotely monitor the road compaction process, further strengthening the quality supervision of on-site construction operations by management personnel.
