In recent years, children's smart watches that integrate various functions such as watches, calls, and positioning have been highly popular. Recently, the Consumer Protection Commission of Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, released a comparative analysis report on 12 children's smart watch samples. The results showed that all 12 samples had varying degrees of high-risk vulnerabilities in the application's self-protection mechanism; The limit of harmful substances in two samples, including Changhong, exceeds the standard limit requirements; Huawei and other two samples performed poorly at high temperatures, while the Shulang sample performed poorly at low temperatures; The PLOYER sample did not pass the IPX4 test (box rain test) and showed poor waterproof performance. It is understood that the 12 samples for this comparative experiment were purchased offline and online by staff from the Shijiazhuang Consumer Protection Commission and testing institutions as ordinary consumers, involving 12 brands such as Changhong, Huawei, Punell, Shulang, Xiaotian, Tsinghua Tongfang, 360, etc. The sample basically covers the mainstream brands and types of children's smartwatches in the current market, and the sample functions are basically the same. The performance of Huawei and Shulang samples during high and low temperature operation testing was poor. In this comparative experiment, 1 mandatory product safety item (heat generation requirement), 1 hazardous substance limit, and 5 performance items closely related to consumer use (positioning accuracy, information security, high-temperature operation, low-temperature operation, and waterproofing) were selected for testing. When using a children's smart watch, there may be a certain degree of temperature rise. Due to the size of the watch body, the watch cannot concentrate heat from one place to another through a fan like a computer or other devices, and can only transmit heat outward through the watch body. The bottom of the watch is in close contact with the human skin for a long time, and users may feel heat and other conditions. This comparative experiment was conducted in an environment of 25 ℃, and the results showed that the external temperature of the casing of the 12 samples during operation was between 30.6 ℃ and 38 ℃, all of which met the heating requirements of GB4943.1-2011 and would not cause adverse perception or safety issues to consumers. The high-temperature and low-temperature operation testing project evaluates the operation of the sample according to the GB/T2423.2-2008 standard, mainly evaluating whether the sample can work normally under high and low temperature conditions. This is an important indicator for evaluating the performance of children's smart watches. The better the performance of high and low temperature operation, the better the children's smart watch can adapt to the corresponding environmental conditions. Comparative experiments have found that 7 samples can work normally for 4 hours at a high temperature of 70 ℃, 1 sample can work normally for 4 hours at a high temperature of 60 ℃, and 2 samples can work normally for 4 hours at a high temperature of 50 ℃; Two samples failed to operate normally for 4 hours at a high temperature of 50 ℃ (automatic shutdown in high temperature environment), namely the W251 children's smart watch from Shihaiwei Home and the NEO-AL10 children's smart watch from Huawei.
