As an important means of recording contemporary social practice and solving the problems of the times, oral history is an indispensable important concept and method for the study of the history of the CPC and the history of the People's Republic of China. The era is the mother of thought, and practice is the source of theory. The CPC has united and led the Chinese people to successfully create, promote and expand the rich practice and experience of Chinese path to modernization, which has provided a source of fresh water and powerful impetus for the study of oral history. First of all, we should deeply understand and grasp the theoretical guidance and action guide of Chinese path to modernization, and consciously take the latest achievements of the sinicization and modernization of Marxism as the guide for oral history recording and research.
