Shenzhen accelerates the promotion of "industrial upgrading"

2023-04-10

Along the Guangzhou Shenzhen Yangtze River Expressway heading south, several eye-catching skyscrapers have sprung up next to Bao'an Avenue in Shenzhen, in stark contrast to the surrounding low old industrial buildings. This is the latest case of Shenzhen's promotion of "industrial upgrading" - the Han's Laser Intelligent Manufacturing Center Building. At first glance, these buildings look no different from the office buildings in the city center, but within them, the difference between downstairs, upstairs, and even the top of the building is clear at a glance. In the four buildings of the Intelligent Manufacturing Center, the first to fifth floors are production workshops, and the sixth and seventh floors are used for research and development and office work. Climbing to the rooftop, the runway, stadium, fitness equipment, green belt, and other facilities are all in place, like a small park being "lifted" into the air. L ü Qitao, Chief Engineer of Han's Laser, said, "Currently, the distance between the R&D base and the production workshop is only 30 seconds. However, in the past, it was more than an hour's drive from the R&D base of Nanshan Science and Technology Park to the Bao'an production and manufacturing base." This is the advantage of "industrial upgrading". In 2022, Shenzhen's industrial added value exceeded the 1 trillion yuan mark for the first time, creating a contradiction between the size of the industrial economy and the demand for industrial space. In Shenzhen, which has nearly 2.5 million enterprises, many companies are facing a situation where their research and development bases are located in office buildings in the city center, and their production workshops are located in remote industrial parks. This dilemma is being broken. Starting from 2023, Shenzhen will accelerate the promotion of enterprises' "industrial upgrading", and will build 20 million square meters of high-quality, low-cost, and customized factory space every year for five consecutive years, creating a "three life integration" manufacturing park for production and living ecology, and fully promoting the landing of the "20+8" industrial cluster. In Shenzhen, a group of distinctive "industrial upstairs" projects are under construction in full swing. Aluminum mold assembly, frame erection, steel bar binding... At the urban renewal project site of Nanshan Zhizao Honghualing Base, dozens of large construction machinery are working intensively, and the roar of the machines echoes in the park. 90 engineers from China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Second Company and more than 400 workers are working hard to advance the project construction operation. The project plans to transform the traditional factory buildings with a total height of 3 to 6 floors into 16 floors, realizing the height of a single factory building of nearly 90 meters, completing the expansion of the building area from 270000 square meters to 706000 square meters, gathering a new generation of high-end manufacturing enterprises such as electronic information, biomedicine and health, Industrial Internet and big data, and improving the land use rate. Not far from the urban renewal project of Nanshan Zhizao Honghualing Base, it is the first "joint upstairs" project in Shenzhen - the Science and Technology Joint Building. This is the first work of 14 science and technology innovation enterprises to jointly build the headquarters building. When completed, it will become a new landmark of Liuxiandong Advanced Business Park in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. From a sand field to a hundred zhang tall building, the Technology Union Building is adjacent to Shenzhen Bay and radiates to Hong Kong, providing a new choice of office space for specialized, refined, and new enterprises. It is expected that after the building is fully completed, it can form a headquarters economic production capacity of up to hundreds of billions of yuan, "said Shen Lang, Chief Engineer of the Technology Union Building Project of China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Second Company. There are many similar "industrial upstairs" projects. In Longhua District, the Qinghu Cultural Industry Park Phase II project aims to create a new digital creative industry that integrates modern information technology with cultural and creative industries
