The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Li Jiachao, stated in a meeting with the media before attending the executive meeting on the 4th that the SAR government will hold a series of activities on April 15th, the "National Security Education Day for All", to let citizens understand the importance of national security for Hong Kong's long-term prosperity and stability. Li Jiachao stated that the theme of this year's event is "the cornerstone of national security, stability, and prosperity". This is the first "National Security Education Day for All" in Hong Kong after its full resumption of normalcy, so more comprehensive, physical, and diverse non online activities will be held to comprehensively enhance and create an atmosphere for Hong Kong to understand national security. Li Jiachao introduced that a grand opening ceremony will be held on April 15th and a special lecture will be held to delve into different issues of national security. The Security Bureau of the Special Administrative Region Government, as well as the disciplinary and auxiliary forces under its jurisdiction, will hold the "National Security Cup" competition for the first time this year, enhancing awareness of safeguarding national security through various sports competitions. On April 15th, all disciplinary forces will jointly hold a flag raising ceremony, with five disciplinary forces holding open day activities to provide citizens with a deeper understanding of the work of maintaining national security. The Civil Affairs and Youth Affairs Bureau of the Special Administrative Region Government and its subordinate departments, as well as the District Civil Affairs Offices, will promote and coordinate the "National Security Education Day for All" event in all 18 districts of Hong Kong to enhance citizens' national security awareness. The Cultural, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the SAR Government and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will produce and release animated versions of national security picture books. The SAR government will also produce television programs and hold exhibitions to raise awareness of the overall national security concept among citizens of different ages and classes. Li Jiachao pointed out that national security education should start from a young age. The SAR government will hold primary school workshops and distribute 60000 national security picture books to primary schools in Hong Kong. Maintaining national security is everyone's responsibility.
