Previously, due to the conditions of security inspection machines, container cargo had to be unpacked into single pieces or single pallets, scanned through security inspection, and then packed. The aviation container CT security inspection system breaks the traditional mode and can conduct overall security inspection on entire boards and containers of goods, greatly improving security inspection efficiency. At the same time, compared to traditional X-ray scanning systems, this system is significantly ahead in terms of penetration ability, image interpretation function, and scanning speed. The core of this system is the static CT technology that Tongfang Nuctech has honed for ten years. Its successful application indicates that China has achieved the key technology research and industrialization of static CT. "We have the confidence to win this lawsuit" begins with a breathtaking victory in an intellectual property lawsuit. Back in 2011, Tongfang Nuctech and Chen Zhiqiang faced a difficult choice. That year, Tongfang Nuctech's invention patent "A Cargo Safety Inspection System" was launched in the United States as a violation procedure. The rival of Tongfang Nuctech is a research team affiliated to the British Ministry of the Interior, which submitted a patent application with basically the same content around the core technology of static CT. Whoever wins owns the patent. At that time, all countries were promoting the research and development of static CT core technology. As is well known, X-ray computed tomography (X-CT) is one of the most outstanding technological achievements of the 20th century, and anyone who has done CT in hospitals has experienced this technology. Traditional spiral CT imaging technology scans objects from various angles through the rotation of the slip ring to obtain transmission information. The faster the slip ring rotates, the faster the imaging speed is, and the clearer the image is. However, there are limits to the speed at which the slip ring rotates, and there are limitations to detecting large objects. At the same time, medical, security, industrial non-destructive testing and other fields have increasingly high requirements for imaging speed and accuracy. Developing an imaging mode that does not rely on slip rings, namely static CT, has become the dream of scientists and engineers worldwide. Whoever can make a breakthrough first will lead the market for the next generation of security inspection products. Therefore, in this head-on competition with the world's top scientific research team in CT technology, Tongfang Weishi has overcome difficulties. The British team sent a settlement letter through a lawyer to Univision, requesting that the patents of the patent in the United States and the United Kingdom belong to the British Ministry of the Interior, and that patents from other countries can be shared with Univision. However, the attitude of the management of Tongfang Nuctech is very firm: "We have the confidence to win this lawsuit, which is the result of our team, and we cannot easily give up intellectual property rights." They have the confidence to fight against each other.
