On March 29, the Sino German (Shenzhen) Economic Forum, themed "New Starting Point for Sino German Cooperation Shaping the Future 50 Years", opened in Shenzhen. Focusing on the two key words of "innovation" and "cooperation", this forum will hold one main forum, four sub forums, and one project docking meeting around key strategic emerging industries such as new energy vehicles, new materials, biomedicine, and intelligent manufacturing; Attract over 100 German enterprises and institutions such as Brose China, Porsche, Infineon, and over 180 Shenzhen enterprises such as Xinwanda, Han's Laser, and New Zebang to participate, further strengthen economic exchanges between China and Germany, and promote win-win cooperation between Chinese and German enterprises in Shenzhen. Dr. Volker Treier, CEO of Global Foreign Trade and Director of the Board of Directors of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated in a video speech that German large and medium-sized enterprises have always highly praised the investment environment in Shenzhen. In 2018, the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry established the Shenzhen Innovation Center, and there are many opportunities for cooperation between China and Germany. "Shenzhen has always played a key role in promoting the development of foreign trade and promoting innovation." Director Yu Xiquan highlighted the industrial development environment of Shenzhen to German enterprises participating in the forum, including a strong industrial foundation, a concentration of innovative resources, unique geographical advantages, first-class business environment, and global leadership in digital infrastructure. This forum actively promoted the docking of project needs between Shenzhen enterprises and German funded enterprises in China, and explored 128 potential cooperation needs. Among them, the main forum featured five signed key projects, covering software information, vocational education, additive manufacturing, new energy, and other fields. For example, Shenzhen Institute of Technicians and the German Keni Technology Education Group will conduct comprehensive cooperation around the fields of dual system talent cultivation and examination certification in Germany, as well as Sino German vocational education. It is expected that in the next three years, more than 1000 international innovative skilled technical talents will be trained for Shenzhen; Shenzhen Futian District Government, Longgang District Government, and Brusa (Shenzhen) Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. will jointly create a collaborative demonstration project for the energy internet platform and energy conversion system, as well as an international collaborative demonstration project for the hydrogen energy and energy digitization industry in China and Europe, and will be located in a production and manufacturing base. It is worth mentioning that this forum has also set up an "electronic exhibition board", which includes the project docking needs of participating enterprises by industry fields, as well as the latest industrial policies and investment guidelines of Shenzhen, and is committed to creating a normalized project docking platform.
