Singapore announces that Lee Hsien Loong will visit China for six days from today

On March 26, the Prime Minister's Office of Singapore issued a statement stating that Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore would pay a six day state visit to China from March 27 to April 1. According to the statement, Li Xianlong will visit Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, Hainan Boao, and Beijing. According to Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao, this is the first time that Lee Hsien Loong has visited China since the epidemic began three years ago. The Lianhe Zaobao quoted a statement saying that Li Xianlong will attend the opening ceremony of the annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia and deliver a speech. The theme of this session of the Boao Forum for Asia is "A world of uncertainty: unity and cooperation to meet challenges, openness and inclusiveness to promote development". In an interview with Chinese media on March 24th, Li Xianlong stated that China is the largest economy in the region, and it is very important to establish an open, sustainable, and mutually beneficial relationship with China.
