On March 21st, the "Century Artery - Nine Provinces (Regions) Tea Cultural Relics Exhibition of the Wanli Tea Path" was held at the Hunan Museum. More than 300 cultural relics from 16 cultural and museum units were presented in a centralized manner, reproducing the prosperous scene of the "Wanli Tea Path" in the past. China is the country of origin of tea, with a vast distribution of tea regions, and a long history of tea tree cultivation and tea making technology. From the 17th century to the early 20th century, Chinese tea was sold to Mongolia, Russia, and other places through nine provinces (regions) in Fujian, Jiangxi, Anhui, Hunan, Hubei, Henan, Shanxi, Hebei, and Inner Mongolia. The total length of the trunk line is 14000 kilometers, known as the "Ten Thousand Li Tea Path.". In March 2019, the "ten thousand mile tea ceremony" was officially included in the Preparatory List of China's World Cultural Heritage by the National Cutural Heritage Administration. Under the guidance of the National Cutural Heritage Administration, the exhibition is co sponsored by the Wanli Tea Road Joint World Heritage Application Office and the above nine provincial (district) cultural relics bureaus. It is divided into four parts, namely, the "hometown of tea", "tea planting 10000 li", "cultural road" and "joint world heritage application". From Chinese charm to Western style customs, the exhibition represents the trade road with thousands of miles of traffic and tea spread. The exhibition site, the "Transportation Route Map of Anhua Black Tea" during the Republic of China period, records four routes for the transportation and sales of Anhua black tea in Hunan Province to the northwest at that time, and details the sections of sailing ships, cars, livestock vehicles (carrying loads), as well as the origin and sales places of tea through legends; On the "Jin Shang Kang Jian San Nie City Tea Product Advertisement Form", the advertising phrase "Qingxin Mingmu Gao Xiang Pian, Xiaoshi Warming Belly San He Tea" is particularly eye-catching, and there is information such as the type of tea operated by the tea house and the location of the store; A pair of Russian "Hankou Tea" tea pots witnessed the prosperity of the Sino Russian tea trade... The rich variety of tea relics has attracted many visitors to stop and appreciate. Fang Zhaoyuan, director of the Ancient Artifacts Research and Exhibition Center of the Hunan Museum and exhibition curator, said that the "Wanli Tea Ceremony" is not only an important international trade channel, but also an important cultural route. As an important part of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, its historical and cultural information highlights important cultural values. "We have added various forms of multimedia interaction, tea art demonstrations, and other forms to the exhibition to visualize the dull content, facilitating the audience to understand the history of the 'Wanli Tea Ceremony', the production techniques of thousands of liang of tea, and tea drinking customs and other tea cultural knowledge."
