Wang Peng, a reporter from Xinhua News Agency, took a photo of the staff inspecting the machine room of China Mobile Guizhou Data Center in Gui'an New Area, Guizhou. Ou Dongqu, a reporter from Xinhua News Agency, photographed the current "East to West Computing" project entering the comprehensive construction stage from the system layout. As the backbone of China's computing power network construction, the construction of computing power infrastructure by the three major operators has been comprehensively accelerated, and the "one network" of national computing power is accelerating. The construction of computing infrastructure has been comprehensively accelerated. At the Gaocun Science and Technology Innovation Park in Wuqing District, Tianjin, China Telecom's Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Big Data Intelligent Computing Center has achieved full coverage of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei network with low latency. According to a staff member from China Telecom, China Telecom has positioned the computing center as the core node of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei hub cluster computing power, directly connecting to the China Telecom backbone network. It not only undertakes the data storage and computing demand in the northern region, mainly in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, but also serves as an important network channel for carrying out "Western Computing". The end-to-end network latency is within 10 milliseconds, and the regional data transmission is within 2 milliseconds. "In the future, after the completion of the computing power center, it will generate a bearing capacity of 500000 servers, which can significantly improve the communication infrastructure capacity, computing power level, and industrial clustering efficiency in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It is expected to drive an investment of nearly 50 billion yuan in upstream and downstream industrial chains such as big data and artificial intelligence." The above-mentioned staff said. In the southwest hinterland of the motherland, equipment patrol inspectors are carefully inspecting every server in the IDC room at the China Unicom Tianfu Information Center Data Center and the Southwest (Chongqing Shuitu) Data Center to ensure that massive data from all directions can be calculated and stored and returned in the same way. In January this year, China Unicom Tianfu Information Center Data Center Phase IV project was included in the list of key projects in Sichuan Province in 2023, and will be fully promoted as a new key project in Sichuan Province in 2023. In early February, Chongqing Hi-Tech Zone and China Unicom reached a cooperation intention, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan planned to build the digital innovation industry base of China Unicom's Western (Chongqing) Science City. In February 2022, the "East to West" project was officially launched in full. According to the National Development and Reform Commission, up to now, eight national computing power hub nodes in the "East Digital West Computing" project have all been started, and the "East Digital West Computing" system has entered the comprehensive construction stage from the system layout. According to the data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, by the end of 2022, the total size of data center racks in use nationwide exceeded 6.5 million standard racks, with an average annual growth rate of over 25% in the past five years. As the national team and main force in the construction of digital information infrastructure, the three major operators are accelerating the construction and investment of computing infrastructure. According to the 2022 annual performance released by China Unicom recently, in 2022, it actively implemented the strategy of "Eastern Digital and Western Computing", improved the "5+4+31+X" multi-level architecture, and strengthened the advantages of backbone network latency leadership and multi cloud connectivity. The annual investment in computing power reached 12.4 billion yuan. The scale of IDC racks has reached 363000, with 1000 data centers covering 23 provinces. China Mobile continues to optimize the "4+N+31+X" data center layout to match the national hub festival
