To solve many technical problems of traditional electronic skin, Lan Wei introduced that the electronic skin, which imitates the human skin perception function, is a new type of flexible wearable sensor with the characteristics of light, thin, soft and flexible, and can convert external stimuli into different output signals. Therefore, it has broad application prospects in intelligent medicine, human-computer interaction, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and other fields. "Most of the traditional electronic skin needs to be integrated with the external power supply and work together with multiple devices." Lan Wei said that most components of the traditional electronic skin are usually rigid except for the sensing part, which greatly affects the beauty, comfort and safety of the electronic skin, and also has a negative impact on the signal acquisition. "The existing electronic skin usually relies on bulky rigid batteries or energy collection devices to operate." Lan Wei said, but the former has large mechanical rigidity, large weight and large volume, while the latter cannot provide continuous and stable energy supply due to special conditions such as location, body or environmental mechanical activity level. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop and build a lightweight, soft, transparent and stable integrated self-powered transparent electronic skin. In addition, the realization of transparent electronic skin can meet the requirements of vision or aesthetics, and is also the only way to practical. The transparent effect of electronic skin can provide more inspiration for its functional design, such as integration with photovoltaic energy collection module and color change effect. "At present, most of the electronic skin is opaque or partially transparent, which is mainly limited by the structural design, material selection and percolation theory." Lan Wei said that the ideal flexible electronic skin should be that all its components are stretchable, transparent and highly integrated, with independent, stable and reliable energy supply components and wireless information transmission functions.
