In the afternoon of January 29, after three hours of lifting and hoisting, the first steel box girder on the west side of the main span of the Lingdingyang Bridge, which was constructed by Poly Long, was completed. Lingdingyang Bridge is a double-tower three-span continuous suspension bridge with a main span of 1688 meters. A total of 213 steel box girders need to be hoisted. The hoisting sequence is from the middle of the main span to the east and west of the two main towers, and the side span from the transition pier to the main tower. The first steel box girder on the west side of the main span is hoisted this time. The girder is 4m high, 12.8m long and 49.7m wide. In the afternoon of the same day, the girder carrier carried 284 tons of steel box girder into the middle and lower part of the Lingdingyang Bridge. After precise positioning, the construction personnel lowered the cable-carried crane and connected it with the temporary lifting point on the steel box girder. After the connection is completed, the cable-carried crane fully lifts upward, and the steel box girder is steadily lifted to the design elevation of 90 meters from the water surface. The construction personnel connect the sling with the permanent lifting point of the beam section through pin connection. In order to ensure the smooth erection of the first steel box girder of this bid section, the project technical research team developed a special lifting plan, manufactured the model through 3D printing technology, repeatedly deduced the construction process, constantly improved the construction organization plan, and checked the safety risks. At the same time, the project team optimized the cable-carried crane based on the actual situation and made full use of advanced technology to create a "smart cable-carried crane". "The intelligent monitoring system of the cable-carried crane is composed of various electronic sensing elements in the crane, which effectively improves the accuracy and efficiency of the steel beam hoisting process and ensures the safety of the hoisting process. During the Spring Festival this year, nearly 100 constructors of the project stuck to their posts, and the front-line offshore construction sites were quickly put into construction after the Spring Festival holiday, in order to promote the lifting of the steel box girder of the bridge and ensure the project construction progress. The construction of the first steel box girder on the east side of the main span of the Lingdingyang Bridge on the Shenzhen-Zhonghua Channel was completed on January 12, and the bridge is expected to be closed by the end of April this year.
