At the beginning of the new year, the visit demonstrated President Marcos's sincere friendship for China and the Chinese people, as well as his firm confidence in the future development of China Philippines relations. The two sides reviewed the development of China Philippines relations and agreed that the high-level exchanges between the two countries are profound and the economic and cultural ties are close and in-depth. On the basis of the meeting held during the APEC Economic Leaders' Informal Meeting in November 2022, the two heads of state reached further important consensus during the meeting. During his visit, President Marcos also met with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and Chairman Li Zhanshu of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. 3、 The Philippines congratulates the CPC on its successful convening of the 20th National Congress and is committed to comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization. China wishes the Philippines better development under the leadership of President Marcos. The two heads of state agreed to give each other stronger support in their respective national development processes, jointly promote modernization and create more benefits for the two peoples. 4、 President Marcos said that his father, the late President Marcos, had played a key role in the establishment and development of China Philippines relations, and promised to build on the foundation laid by his father to promote China Philippines relations to a higher level. 5、 The two heads of state stressed the importance of maintaining the sound development momentum of bilateral relations, and agreed to further strengthen China Philippines comprehensive strategic cooperation under the new situation, to be good neighbors for mutual help, good relatives who know each other closely, and good partners for mutual benefit and win-win results, so as to promote bilateral relations to a new level. 6、 The two heads of state reaffirmed the spirit of the joint communiqu é on the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Philippines in 1975 and other documents, including the settlement of all disputes by peaceful means, mutual respect for national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and non-interference in each other's internal affairs. The Philippines reiterated its adherence to the one China policy. 7、 The two sides committed to deepening cooperation in the four major areas of agriculture, infrastructure, energy and people to people and cultural engagement, and expanding more cooperation channels in the fields of national defense, security, science and technology, trade and investment. 8、 The Philippines thanks the Chinese side for providing various forms of financial support, supporting the Philippines to implement relevant economic and technological projects and supporting its socio-economic development. 9、 The two sides agreed to further develop bilateral trade and strive to recover and exceed the pre epidemic bilateral trade volume. The two sides stressed the importance of promoting trade balance and will expand market access for Philippine exports. The two sides welcomed the signing of a new memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and the Philippine Stock Exchange to further deepen the capital market cooperation between the two countries. The two sides welcomed the signing of a series of cooperation agreements in the commercial field to provide assistance for the economic growth and development of the two countries. The two sides will continue to promote sustainable and inclusive trade at the bilateral and regional levels and strengthen cooperation in the field of digital economy and green development. 10、 The two sides agreed to strengthen agricultural cooperation and signed several agricultural cooperation documents, including the China Philippines Agricultural and Fishery Cooperation Action Plan (2023-2025) and the third phase of the China Philippines Agricultural Technology Center's technical cooperation project
