Recently, the Beijing Qiaoniang Handicraft Development Promotion Association held the opening ceremony of the Beijing Qiaoniang Museum and the ceremony of "Mr. Rabbit Goes Home" in Beijing. The upper and lower floors of Beijing Qiaoniang Museum cover a total area of more than 300 square meters, with exhibition, sales, training, live broadcast, party building and other areas. At present, the museum has exhibited the works of Qiaoniang from 13 districts including Dongcheng, including more than 200 intangible cultural heritage works such as cloisonne and filigree inlay, including more than 30 party building theme works. Beijing Qiaoniang Handicraft Development Promotion Association was established in 2009 with the support and guidance of Beijing Women's Federation. Since its establishment, the Association has promoted the establishment of Qiaoniang Promotion Branch in 16 districts of Beijing, established 349 "Qiaoniang Studios", 35 specialty stores, 16 research and development bases, and selected 30 categories and nearly 100 pieces of works as "Beijing Gifts", with the goal of entrepreneurship and employment and the pursuit of inheriting China's excellent handicraft culture and promoting the construction of a harmonious community in the capital. At present, there are more than 1700 urban level "Beijing Qiaoniang". Many Qiaoniang have become "inheritors of intangible cultural heritage", deputies to the National People's Congress and members of the CPPCC. Nearly 100 Qiaoniang and their works have won awards in domestic and international competitions. The Association has also been rated as a 5A social organization by the Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau. Chen Huihua, President of Beijing Qiaoniang Handicraft Development Promotion Association and Curator of Beijing Qiaoniang Museum, said that in the future, Beijing Qiaoniang Handicraft Development Promotion Association will continue to enhance the popularity of Beijing Qiaoniang's intangible cultural heritage works through the in-depth construction of Beijing Qiaoniang Museum, and drive the city's women to create jobs and flexible employment. A pair of children, "Mr. Rabbit", came home, one riding a dragon and the other riding a tiger, implying that the Imperial City and the Dragon vein of the East City were at the opening of the Beijing Qiaoniang Museum, and "Mr. Rabbit came home", implying that the Beijing Qiaoniang Museum was the home of Mr. Rabbit. Mr. Rabbit is the mascot of old Beijing and also the intangible cultural heritage of Beijing. Since the Ming Dynasty, people in old Beijing have had the custom of "inviting" and "sending" Mr. Rabbit on the Mid Autumn Festival, implying peace and auspiciousness. (Liu Xinshe)
