The reporter learned from the Sixth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation that on the morning of December 10, the 130 ton pump rear swing liquid oxygen kerosene engine of the Academy completed the fourth test run in Baolongyu Test Area, which was a complete success. This engine has completed 4 test runs totaling 2100 seconds, and the cumulative working time of a single engine exceeds 8 times of the task time, breaking the previous record of 2050 seconds for a single 100 ton series liquid oxygen kerosene engine. Relying on the 120 ton liquid oxygen kerosene engine of the new generation carrier rocket, the pump rear swing series engine has been developed to improve the engine performance, realizing the overall layout of thrust vector control only by shaking the thrust chamber, making the engine compact in structure, small in horizontal envelope, compact in overall layout under the same rocket diameter, greatly improving the thrust generated by the fixed rocket diameter, and increasing the rocket surface thrust by nearly 80%. This engine is the first supporting product based on flight status. It needs to pass the long-term life test evaluation and verification, shoulder the responsibility of solidifying the engine technical status, and is the basis for establishing the technical baseline of delivered products. This engine has carried out long range work, extreme inlet conditions, wide range variable working conditions, rapid thrust regulation, extreme power supply/gas supply conditions and other assessments, which have verified the adaptability and essential reliability of the product. The effectiveness of the measures to improve the reliability of weak link governance has been verified through the long range life test, which shows that the inherent reliability of the engine has reached a new level. At the same time, this engine is the first product with light frame and structural layout in flight. Its successful test run marks a new stage in the development of 130 ton pump rear swing engine, and marks the beginning of the transition from development to delivery of pump rear swing engine series.
