To this end, we must transform the spirit of the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China into a new driving force for high-quality inheritance and innovative development of traditional Chinese medicine. The prevention and treatment of major chronic diseases is the key and difficult point in building a healthy China, and Chinese medicine must work together. Building a people's health security system that is in line with China's national conditions and is characterized by "prevention first, equal emphasis on traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine, and combination of traditional and western medicine" is expected to become an advantage in the prevention and treatment of major diseases and major chronic diseases in China, and provide the world with a Chinese solution to major chronic diseases. Traditional Chinese medicine is a complex scientific system. It needs to integrate and apply multidisciplinary advanced technologies and methods to carry out integrated and innovative research, build a team of innovative talents with traditional Chinese medicine as the main body and multidisciplinary integration, and actively carry out international cooperation.
