It was announced at the meeting that the Chinese Academy of Sciences will hold the "Science Festival of the Chinese Academy of Sciences · 2022" from October 29 to November 6. With the theme of "Hi, Science! - Curious Exploration of the Unknown, Science Connects the Future", more than 100 popular science activities with various forms and rich contents will be held in various institutions under the Academy. The activity will focus on demonstrating the major scientific and technological innovation progress and achievements of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in recent years, portraying the beautiful vision of science and technology benefiting human life, so that the public can get close contact with cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements, face to face with scientists, pay attention to the full integration of science, culture and art, highlight the characteristics of "festivals", stimulate the curiosity of the public, especially young people, and serve scientific education. It is reported that the Science Festival will be held in Beijing and Wuhan for two days. The main event in Beijing will be held at the Institute of Botany of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (South Garden of National Botanical Garden) from October 29 to 30, including six sections, including "Hi Theater", "Innovation Exhibition", "Zero Distance", "Innovation Workshop", "Science and Innovation Fair" and "Beauty of Science". Wuhan special event is tentatively scheduled to be held in Wuhan Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences from November 5 to 6. The "Hi Theater" section focuses on scientific and artistic performances. It combines scientific knowledge, scientists' stories, stage plays, talk shows, speeches, experiments and other forms of art to show the charm of science and the spiritual outlook of scientists in a popular way and stimulate the public's interest in science. The "Innovation Exhibition" section focuses on the experience of exhibition items.
