Gesang Yuzhen said that in 2021, the Tibetan medicine industry in the region exceeded the economic target of "an average annual increase of more than 10% in industrial added value" issued by the autonomous region. The total output value of 17 Tibetan medicine manufacturers in the region was 2.5 billion yuan, up 24.5% year on year. 17 Tibetan medicine manufacturers have passed the national GMP certification and can produce more than 360 Tibetan medicine varieties.
