Can't understand the physical examination report? Show you common indicators by hand

2022-09-21

It is also the peak season of physical examination, and we must all know the importance of regular physical examination. However, many people are still confused when they receive the medical examination report in the face of obscure medical terms and dense numbers. If they see an arrow floating up and down behind the indicator, they will be more nervous, and the stimulus is like an "open blind box". How to correctly interpret the medical examination report? Next, we will teach you the meaning of common indicators hand by hand. Indicator 1: The upper limit of normal systolic blood pressure is 140 mm Hg, and the upper limit of normal diastolic blood pressure is 90 mm Hg. If the upper limit exceeds this standard, the blood pressure is considered higher than normal. During the physical examination, we should pay attention to sit still for 10 minutes in advance to maintain emotional stability. In addition, once the blood pressure increased, we could not diagnose hypertension, and at least three blood pressure measurements on different dates were required to confirm the diagnosis. Health prescription: low salt diet, proper exercise, smoking cessation and alcohol restriction; Blood pressure should be monitored regularly, and antihypertensive drugs should be taken according to the doctor's advice to avoid sudden drug withdrawal or reduction. Indicator 2: Blood glucose and blood glucose mainly include fasting blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin (glycosylated HGB). The normal value of fasting blood glucose (no sugar and any sugary food intake within 8 hours) is 3.9-6.1 mmol/L. When the fasting blood glucose is higher than the normal range of 6.1 mmol/L, it is called hyperglycemia. Glycosylated HGB reflects the average level of blood glucose control in the past 90 days, and is used to evaluate the long-term blood glucose control. Blood glucose is not a fixed value and is affected by many factors. One indulgent meal, high-intensity exercise or emotional excitement will cause blood glucose to increase. These conditions are all transient hyperglycemia. However, if the hyperglycemia is not controlled for a long time, it may eventually be labeled as "diabetes". Health prescription: control total calories, eat less and eat more, quit smoking and limit alcohol, and avoid overwork; Monitor blood glucose, follow the doctor's advice for long-term drug treatment, and follow up regularly in the outpatient department. Indicator 3: transaminase transaminase is the most direct indicator to reflect the injury of liver cells, mainly focusing on alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST). The normal range of ALT is 0U/L-40U/L. However, ALT lacks specificity. Fatigue, drinking, cold, emotional factors and other factors can cause changes in the permeability of liver cell membrane, but the resulting increase in transaminase is generally not higher than 60U/L. Once the ALT value is higher than 80U/L, it has diagnostic value and needs to go to the hospital. The normal range of AST is 0U/L-40U/L. The significance of elevated AST is similar to that of ALT in the diagnosis of hepatitis. Generally, AST is not as high as ALT. Once the AST value is higher than the ALT value, it indicates that the degree of liver cell damage and necrosis is more serious. At this time, the significance of measuring the isoenzymes (ASTs and ASTm) is greater. Only AST increases in mild liver damage, and ASTm increases significantly in severe liver damage. The increase of these two indicators is mainly seen in hepatitis, liver tumors, and the use of liver damaging drugs. However, under some physiological conditions, "false positives" may also occur, which should exclude heavy drinking, strenuous exercise, overwork, fever, pregnancy, etc. The liver function test is to draw blood on an empty stomach, and the empty stomach time is generally 8-12 hours. proposal
