Recently, the second phase of the main area civil works in the planning of Shenzhen Intelligent Connected Transport Test Platform in Pingshan District was officially launched. It is expected to be completed and put into use in 2023, which will create the world's first three-dimensional urban transport system and 5G led intelligent connected transport test base. The intelligent connected vehicle industry is one of the "20+8" industrial clusters in Shenzhen. The Action Plan of Shenzhen for Fostering and Developing Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industrial Clusters (2022-2025) was released this year, which clearly defined that the intelligent connected vehicle industry will be focused in Pingshan District, Nanshan District, and Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone, where Pingshan District has both R&D, design, and manufacturing functions. As a major industrial platform of the city, Shenzhen Intelligent Network Transport Testing Demonstration Platform (hereinafter referred to as "Demonstration Platform") will be built in Pingshan District in 2019. The construction of the project is divided into two stages. In the first stage, the temporary closed test area of Jinlian Road will be built as the starting area of the demonstration platform. In the second stage, the main area of the demonstration platform will be built, including the closed test area, semi open test area and open test area. At present, the temporary closed test area of Jinlian road has been put into operation, mainly providing the service required by enterprises to complete functional confirmation and testing before on-road testing, which can meet the requirements of vehicle level testing of autonomous vehicle, and support product R & D testing and public road certification testing. According to statistics, 24 enterprises related to automatic driving have been served, 227 vehicles have been tested, and the test mileage has reached 60128 kilometers. The start of civil engineering construction in the main area of the second stage marks the acceleration of demonstration platform construction. The main area is divided into open, semi open and closed test areas. The closed test area is located in Pingshan Environmental Park, with an area of about 0.43 square kilometers; The semi open zone is located in Pingshan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, with an area of about 3 square kilometers; The open test area is located in the south of Julong Mountain Ecological Park, with an area of about 1 square kilometers. The construction of the three regions has been promoted at the same time, and is expected to be completed and put into use in 2023. After completion, the demonstration platform will realize the first 5G scene and virtual city cloud simulation in China, and take the lead in implementing the advanced prediction technology of real-time prediction of driving trajectory in the world, complete the V2X (vehicle wireless communication) interconnection application exhibition activity, and become the key supporting infrastructure for the development of the intelligent connected automobile industry. At the same time, the demonstration platform will focus on the future traffic development needs, build a vehicle road cloud integrated testing service framework, carry out testing and evaluation for the central cloud and edge cloud function applications, and assist enterprises to carry out research on cloud platform innovation functions in the transportation field.
