The Long March 6 carrier rocket is a low-temperature liquid three-stage carrier rocket developed by the eighth Academy of Aerospace Science and technology group. It has the ability to launch satellites of various types and different orbital requirements, and can launch single satellite or multiple satellites with one rocket. Its 700 km solar synchronous circular orbit has a carrying capacity of 1 ton. The mission carries 16 satellites, which brings multiple challenges to the satellite layout design, installation and operation, separation scheme, etc. Due to the large number of mechanical and electrical interfaces of satellite and rocket, in order to meet the requirements of multi satellite layout and control channels, the development team designed the multi satellite layout bearing cylinder and multi satellite separation control scheme to ensure the matching and coordination of satellite and rocket interfaces. At the same time, due to the high requirements of separation safety for multi satellite launch and the difficulty of separation design, in order to send 16 satellites into the predetermined orbit safely and accurately, the model has carried out several multi satellite separation safety simulation and analysis, optimized the design from the aspects of satellite layout and separation scheme, and finally adopted the batch separation scheme. By adjusting the attitude of the rocket body and increasing the forward thrust of attitude control before separation Ensure the accuracy of orbit entry. In view of the compact layout of 16 satellites in the fairing, the staggered space between them, the narrow docking installation space, and the large difficulty in operation, the model reasonably arranged the satellite rocket docking process, and avoided the risk through human-machine simulation, docking drill and other measures. According to the characteristics of "Sanping" test and launch mode and no support launch of Long March 6 carrier rocket, the model team further carried out rain and lightning protection recheck of all systems of the whole rocket according to the characteristics of thunderstorm days in summer, including the effectiveness of rain and lightning protection measures and the physical implementation of various rain and lightning protection measures on the rocket, so as to meet the requirements of pre launch operation and launch in thunderstorm season.
