From "seeing, hearing and asking" to "remote consultation", see how 5g can empower smart medical

The advantages of 5g network such as high speed, low delay and strong connection capability have always been talked about. When 5g network is combined with various industries, what sparks will be generated? On August 2, when the world 5g conference was coming, the reporter saw in the Harbin data center of China Mobile that the cabinets were arranged in order, the servers in the cabinets were running, and the 5g application achievements were displayed here. Enabled by the optical path direct technology of the optical transmission network (OTN), the data stored in Harbin is transmitted to Beijing with a delay of less than 18 milliseconds (one millisecond is only one thousandth of one second). The speed is so fast that the transmission time is almost zero. With the 5g telemedicine platform built by China Mobile Harbin data center, ten days ago, Professor Yu Bo, President of the cardiovascular hospital and director of the Department of Cardiology of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, provided the Mudanjiang cardiovascular hospital with remote guidance of "septal" cardiac stent implantation surgery. This is the third real-time consultation after the two hospitals established 5g network remote consultation at the end of 2021. "This time, the patient's coronary artery condition is complex and requires accurate guidance of intracavitary imaging technology. However, the patient's physical condition is inconvenient for long-distance travel. After comprehensive evaluation, it is suitable for remote consultation." Yu Bo introduced that through the 5g telemedicine platform, they guided the team of Liu Kai, President of Mudanjiang cardiovascular hospital, to carry out the heart stent implantation operation. The real-time images of the operating room and the angiographic images of the patients were clearly displayed on the large screen of the cardiology conference room of the second hospital of Harbin Medical University more than 300 kilometers away. On the same day, the operation was successfully completed through the remote real-time "guidance" of Yu Bo. In this operation, Heilongjiang Mobile 5g network played an important role, effectively ensuring the stability, reliability and safety of remote surgery. "During the operation, the 5g video calls between the two places were clear without delay, and the pictures were smooth and stable." Yu Bo said. Not only in the medical field, Heilongjiang Mobile is gradually becoming a reality through 5g. "At present, Heilongjiang Mobile has built a provincial government cloud service platform, contracted to build and operate the provincial 12345 government service convenience hotline platform, signed '5g +' strategic cooperation agreements with more than 100 important industry customers such as China first heavy industry group and Harbin Electric Power Group, and built a number of demonstration projects such as 5g + unmanned farms, smart medical care, smart factories and smart mines in Heilongjiang Province to help the digital transformation of Heilongjiang industry from multiple dimensions." Li Xiaowen, deputy general manager of China Mobile Communications Group Heilongjiang Co., Ltd., introduced to the reporter. Behind 5g's empowerment of thousands of industries, it is also due to the continuous compaction of the "computing power base". The China Mobile Harbin Data Center Park, located in the Pingfang District of Harbin, covers an area of 1294 mu, with a total planned investment of 12 billion yuan and 54000 racks. At present, the accumulated investment of the two phases of the project has reached 6 billion yuan, and 18600 racks have been put into production. Harbin data center is the central node of China Mobile in Northeast China, and also the carrier of China Mobile's 950 million user big data resource pool, national big data epidemic prevention platform and Longjiang health code platform. "We are committed to building Harbin data center into a 'new foundation' for the development of digital economy in the province
