This is the first newly built automated wharf in Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay area, which integrates the application of Beidou navigation, 5g communication, artificial intelligence, driverless and other cutting-edge technologies. According to the introduction, the wharf has four 100000 ton marine ship berths and supporting container barge berths, with a design annual throughput of 4.9 million TEUs. The phase IV automatic wharf of Nansha port area of Guangzhou port is located at the mouth of the Pearl River. The inland river transportation network of the Pearl River system and the deep-water port are connected and intersected here. Through the Nansha Port Railway in the port area, the multimodal transport of river, sea and railway can be realized. It is understood that the dock uses the Beidou navigation driverless intelligent guided vehicle. When handling containers, it uses Beidou, laser and visual navigation and positioning technology. Without the help of magnetic nails, the driving path is more flexible and changeable. When running "tired", it can also be charged automatically at a fixed point. (Xinhua News Agency)
