The person in charge said that in recent years, China's medical security industry has developed rapidly, and the national medical insurance drug catalogue has been dynamically adjusted every year. In four years, more than 500 drugs have been included in the catalogue. After negotiation, the price of drugs has been significantly reduced, and local supplementary drugs can basically be better replaced by drugs in the national catalogue. It is of little significance to continue to retain local supplementary drugs. On the basis of comprehensively considering the affordability of local medical insurance funds, clinical and public drug use habits, drug renewal cycle and other factors, the national medical insurance administration has studied and formulated a three-year "digestion" plan for local supplementary drugs, that is, from 2020, gradually transfer the drugs added according to the regulations in the original provincial drug catalogue according to the proportion of 40% in the first year, 40% in the second year and 20% in the third year, and realize the basic unification of the scope of medical insurance drugs in the country by the end of 2022.
