Solid infrastructure builds the foundation for application and development. According to the latest data from the Ministry of industry and information technology, as of the end of May this year, 1.7 million 5g base stations have been built and opened across the country, covering all cities, counties, urban areas and 92% of towns and townships across the country, with more than 12 5g base stations per 10000 people. The action plan defines the development direction and goals of 5g application in key industries in China in the next three years, and also puts forward the development goals, application scenarios, application links, implementation measures, etc. of 5g in 15 vertical industries, and gives specific implementation measures and methods for the integrated application of 5g and the industry, so as to promote the implementation of 5g application in various industries through pilot demonstrations, pilot areas, etc. After the release of the action plan last year, the application development of 5g industry in China has been injected with a "catalyst", highlighting the value of network construction. In terms of scenarios, 5g has been "engraved" into the genes of many enterprises' core production processes. In many industries, such as ports, steel, mines, etc., thousands of equipment have been transformed into 5g remote control, 7 × 24-hour uninterrupted operation on the network; Many of China's "big country heavy goods" have also moved from manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing. Using 5g+ai quality inspection, millimeter level high-precision equipment testing has greatly improved manufacturing efficiency. In terms of scale, the deployment of network scale and the scale of industry terminals continue to be deepened. From Sany Heavy Industry in the equipment manufacturing industry and Midea, a home appliance giant, to the Ningde era of new energy battery manufacturing... In the past year, 5g construction in a single factory to the 5g scale launch of multiple branches of the group have become common practice. In the past year's industrial practice, 5g has become an important starting point for the upgrading of industrial clusters in many places. After completing the 5g digital upgrading, many leading enterprises have standardized their schemes, empowered the upstream and downstream industrial chains, and promoted the scale of 5g application in relevant industrial clusters. In terms of standards, the digital technology providers, mainly the three major operators, have made breakthroughs in key areas and formed a certain standard system and methodology. Today, China has established 5g+ industrial Internet, 5g+ medical, 5g+ power and other industry standard systems, forming a series of standards for 5g industry virtual private network and 5g industry terminal. At present, China's 5g standards organization and alliance have carried out a total of 87 5g standards research and formulation work, including 25 common technical standards and 62 fusion application standards. From "1 to n" All in one, overcome single point problems, and make 5g applications achieve a breakthrough from 0 to 1. In order to solve the customization problems encountered in the 5g industry promotion, Chinatelecom launched the 5g capability magic cube system, which is designed from six dimensions: business requirements, technical parameters, atomic capabilities, standard products, business models and solutions, to achieve "modular" packaging, "standardized" output, "large-scale" application, and effectively solve the pain points such as vague customer needs and unclear network requirements encountered in the landing of 5g customization network. In order to provide private network configuration and services that are mobile and cost-effective, China Mobile has launched a 5g private network "BAF multi-dimensional" basic function + value-added function combination, providing a multi-dimensional, multi-dimensional and multi-mode billing scheme, and supporting multi-dimensional charges according to traffic, bandwidth, base stations, rates, service levels, etc., so that customers can "order by a single order"; At the same time, four gear high-frequency combinations are refined to effectively match the application scenarios. Another key condition for the large-scale development of 5g industry application is the economy of module cost. Under the influence of multiple factors such as fragmented market, standard introduction period and chip supply, it is difficult to sell a single module, the production and design costs are difficult to dilute, and the expansion of application scenarios and demand range urgently needs to be further accelerated. "Although the current price of 5g modules has dropped to more than 400 yuan, it is not low enough. In the future, the cost of modules should be reduced to about 100 yuan per unit. Therefore, it is suggested to further promote the scale deployment of modules through centralized purchase, subsidies and other measures, and strive to achieve the goal of 50billion Internet of things connectivity by 2030." In response to this problem, industry experts also suggested that on the one hand, we can further promote the standardization and industrialization of general-purpose modules, on the other hand, we can customize modules for some industry scenes that have strong demand for Industry modules, such as industrial vision. R17 standard will release more potential 5g application expansion should not only turn "model rooms" into more "commercial houses", but also continue to tap more potentially valuable application scenarios. In this process, "standard" is like a street lamp, "spectrum" is like fuel. 5g follows the evolution of 3GPP 5g standard. The R17 version further enhances the quality of China's 5g network through "stronger", "better" and "more specialized" performance, guides the commercial performance improvement of 5g applications, and further expands 5g application scenarios. Most intuitively, R17 standard is helpful to further improve the quality of 5g network in China. China's 5g coverage has been at the forefront of the world. R17 standard has been enhanced and evolved in many fields, such as multi antenna technology, dynamic spectrum sharing technology, coverage enhancement technology, positioning technology, and so on. It can continuously improve the performance of 5g network in mobility, cell capacity, network coverage, positioning accuracy and so on. It is understood that the R17 standard was formulated after 5g scale commercial use, so that the actual deployment experience and new requirements can be learned to a certain extent, forming a closed loop of standards and applications. At present, in the industrial scene, the synchronization accuracy of industrial control has yet to be solved. China Mobile's urllc (ultra reliable low delay communication) enhancement project can improve the air interface synchronization accuracy of time-delay sensitive industrial control networks from ± 540 nanoseconds in R16 to ± 145 nanoseconds to ± 275 nanoseconds in R17. R17 version also introduces "new terminal", "new network" and "new functions", which are of great benefit to further expand 5g application scenarios. By reducing the bandwidth and antenna number of terminals, simplifying duplex transmission, tailoring protocol process functions, reducing power consumption and other means, we can create new lightweight terminals in more application scenarios such as factory sensing, video monitoring and wearable devices to meet the needs of IOT with low cost, low power consumption and medium data rate; In various scenarios such as public security and live broadcast of events, the satellite sky link Relay of the new network technology of integrating heaven and earth in R17 version complements ground communication, and jointly builds a three-dimensional integrated network of space and earth, providing users with ubiquitous and all-time communication services. It is worth mentioning that 3GPP officially defines the 6GHz authorized spectrum band, and further expands the millimeter wave spectrum in R17 and future versions. Industry experts believe that after the standardization of the 6GHz band, the resulting high bandwidth, wide coverage and high-capacity capabilities will provide important support for the development of applications such as manufacturing, health care, Internet of vehicles and virtual reality; 3GPP will introduce more 5g NR (new air interface) enhancement features supporting millimeter wave in R17 and future versions, which can help introduce full duplex operation and mobile relay (such as cars) to improve capacity, coverage and quality of service.
