Guo Yan, director of the editorial department of the China Journal of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, believes that only by letting the audience better understand traditional Chinese medicine can we promote the culture of traditional Chinese medicine and benefit more people from traditional Chinese medicine. In order to unify the industry standards of TCM terminology translation and improve the quality of TCM terminology translation, the Translation Institute of the China foreign language Bureau, the China foreign books and periodicals publishing and distribution center (International Communication Development Center) and the foreign language publishing house jointly released the "English translation reference of terms related to the international dissemination of TCM culture and the fight against epidemic" on the forum, and officially launched the work related to the industry standards of TCM terminology English translation. After the forum, a series of themed activities will be carried out, such as "day study in China · experience trip of traditional Chinese medicine culture". International youth representatives, overseas students of traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities, Chinese and foreign media will be invited to enter the representative traditional Chinese medicine industry base and cultural experience hall to experience the process of traditional Chinese medicine, and micro documentaries will be filmed for three-dimensional dissemination on mainstream media platforms at home and abroad.
