He looked forward to deepening relations, consultation and economic and trade cooperation with China to promote the steady growth of bilateral trade volume. Prienkovic said that over the past 30 years, Croatia and China have had wonderful relations and cooperation, especially under the framework of the "the Belt and Road" initiative and China CEEC cooperation. Last year, he attended the China CEE leaders' summit, which promoted the deepening of cooperation between China and Croatia and CEE countries. Pulenkovic said that the peleshac bridge is the most important infrastructure construction project in Croatia and will help the Croatian people realize their long cherished wish to connect the north and the south; The sene wind power project will effectively alleviate the power shortage in Croatia and provide green energy for Croatian consumers. He welcomed more Chinese enterprises to invest in Croatia. He said that after the outbreak of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, "we have witnessed a surge in energy prices. The global dialogue on energy issues and energy supply is an area in which the EU and China should cooperate, including Croatia of course". Prienkovic said that over the past 30 years, Croatia and China have made great progress in bilateral cooperation, and the prospects for bilateral relations and cooperation will be better in the future, because bilateral relations and cooperation have a very solid foundation. He recalled that after the outbreak of the COVID-19 in Croatia, he called China to ask for medical assistance.
