The launch of one arrow, eight stars and two Ding is a complete success!

2022-05-06

At 10:38 on May 5, the long march-2 D carrier rocket was ignited and lifted off at Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, successfully putting eight satellites such as jilin-1 wide 01C satellite into the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success. The long march-2-d carrier rocket for this launch mission is a normal temperature liquid two-stage carrier rocket developed by the eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It has a takeoff thrust of 300 tons and a carrying capacity of 1.2 tons corresponding to a 700 km solar synchronous circular orbit. It has single satellite and multi satellite launch capabilities with different orbital requirements. It is understood that this launch mission is the first launch of the long march-2 D carrier rocket in the year of the tiger. This launch mission optimizes the test launch process, unifies the product status on the arrow, and further improves the production supporting facilities and the work efficiency of the launch site. The eight satellites launched this time were all developed by Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. Jilin No. 1 wide 01C satellite fully inherits the mature technology of Jilin No. 1 wide 01A / b satellite. Its width is more than 150km. It can provide users with image products with full-color resolution of 0.5m and multispectral resolution of 2m. It has the characteristics of high resolution, super wide width, super storage and high-speed data transmission. Jilin No.1 Gaogao 03D (27 ~ 33) satellite is a light and small high-resolution remote sensing satellite. The width of this series of satellites is more than 17 kilometers. It can provide users with image products with full-color resolution of 0.75 meters and multispectral resolution of 3 meters. It has the characteristics of low cost, low power consumption, low weight and high resolution. After the 8 satellites launched this time are put into orbit, they will be networked with 46 jilin-1 satellites in orbit. So far, the number of jilin-1 satellites in orbit has increased to 54, which can revisit anywhere in the world 17-20 times a day, providing richer remote sensing data and products and services for agriculture, forestry, marine, resources, environmental protection, urban construction, scientific experiments and other fields.
