Recently, the national medical insurance bureau held the first national working meeting of centralized pharmaceutical purchase institutions to study and deploy the construction of centralized purchase platform. At the meeting, Chen Jinfu, member of the Party group and deputy director of the National Medical Insurance Bureau, said that we should focus on improving the online collection rate and centralized collection rate, standardizing the online listing rules, promoting online settlement, strengthening monitoring and supervision, participating in the price reform of medical services, improving the information system and creating a demonstration platform. Chen Jinfu said that we should fully understand the significance of platform construction in supporting the reform of centralized pharmaceutical purchase, exploring new price formation mechanism and professional handling services, and continuously improve the functions of transaction support, online settlement, monitoring and supervision, public services and so on around the overall goal of supporting the reform and management of pharmaceutical prices. It is reported that since 2018, the national medical insurance administration, together with relevant departments, has promoted the reform of drug and high-value medical consumables with volume procurement as the core. After three years of efforts, the reform of centralized volume procurement has entered a new stage of normalization and institutionalization. (outlook new era)
