Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced the Guangdong 2022 key construction project plan (hereinafter referred to as the "project plan") on its official website. In 2022, Guangdong Province will arrange 1570 provincial key projects with a total investment of 7.67 trillion yuan and an annual planned investment of 900 billion yuan. From the location of the project, there are 17 inter city transportation infrastructure projects related to mainland cities in Dawan district. The total investment in 2022 alone is as high as 66.15 billion yuan, mainly divided into three categories: expressway, national railway trunk line and intercity rail, and most of the projects are located on the West Bank of the Pearl River Estuary. From this point of view, the process of "making up for weaknesses" in the traffic on the West Bank of the Pearl River Estuary has accelerated. The Shenzhen China channel, which has attracted much attention, has arranged a lot of funds this year, as much as 7 billion yuan, which matches its status as a "super project". Among these 17 projects, the most "money burning" is the Guangzhou Zhanjiang high-speed railway. The planned investment this year is nearly three times that of the Shenzhen China channel. Its importance is not only because it connects the seven cities in the province, but also the large channel from Dawan district to Hainan free trade port and Beibu Gulf Urban Agglomeration high-speed railway. 01/ Several key expressway construction projects benefit Zhongshan Among the 17 projects, there are 8 key expressway construction projects. The largest amount of investment plan in 2022 is the Shenzhen China channel, with a total of 7 billion yuan. According to the project plan, the total investment of Shenzhen China channel is 44.690.7 billion yuan. By the end of 2021, a total investment of 24.0311.7 billion yuan has been completed, more than half of the total investment. This year, the Shenzhen China channel will mainly build artificial islands, immersed tunnels and bridges. Since this year, the pace of construction of the Shenzhen China corridor has been gradually accelerated. On January 6, the tunnel in the weir section of the main line of dongrengong island was officially capped, marking that the tunnel in the weir section of the main line of the project turned to the construction of structures and ancillary facilities in the tunnel. On March 13, according to Guangdong Provincial Communications Group, 24 pipe joints have been installed in Shenzhong channel, and the installation length of pipe joints in immersed tunnel has been close to three-quarters of the total length of immersed pipe section. It is planned that the sinking and installation of 7 pipe joints will be completed within this year. In terms of cities, Zhongshan has the largest number of projects, with a total of 5, including 1 renewal project and 4 new projects, focusing on connecting Guangzhou and Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Jiangmen and other cities on the West Bank of the Pearl River Estuary. For a long time, the density of expressway network in Zhongshan City is low, and the connection with surrounding cities needs to be strengthened. According to the highway network planning of Guangdong Province (2020-2035), the highway planning density of Zhongshan City ranks second in the mainland cities of Dawan District, second only to Shenzhen. This year, a number of key expressway construction projects in Guangdong Province involve Shenzhen, which will also help Zhongshan speed up becoming an important transportation hub in the West Wing of Dawan district. 02/ Guangzhou Zhanjiang high speed railway plans to invest 20 billion yuan this year Unicom seven cities in the province In the project planning, there are 6 key construction projects of cross city national railway trunk lines in the Pearl River Delta, with a total planned investment of 38.7 billion yuan in 2022. The project with the largest planned investment amount this year is Guangzhou Zhanjiang railway (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Zhanjiang high speed railway"), which is 20 billion yuan. Guangzhou Zhanjiang high speed railway passes through Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhaoqing, Yunfu, Yangjiang, Maoming, Zhanjiang and other places, with a total length of about 401km and a total investment of 99.8 billion yuan. It is a high-speed railway project with the longest construction mileage and the largest investment in Guangdong Province. According to China National Railway Group, recently, the Zhanjiang Bay Subsea Tunnel Project of Guangzhou Zhanjiang high speed railway has officially entered the Zhanjiang Bay Sea area section. According to the project plan, Guangzhou Zhanjiang high speed railway is expected to be completed in 2025. At that time, Guangzhou Zhanjiang high-speed railway will become a major channel connecting Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Dawan District, Hainan free trade port and Beibu Gulf Urban Agglomeration high-speed railway. In addition, among the six key construction projects of national railway trunk lines, projects involving relevant sections of Zhuhai Zhaoqing high-speed railway have appeared three times, and all sections are among them. A total of 4.7 billion yuan is planned to be invested this year. The line is a major project to improve the layout of the railway network on the West Bank of the Pearl River. In addition to the mainland cities in Dawan District, non Pearl River cities such as Shanwei, Zhanjiang, Maoming and Yunfu are also accelerating their integration into the "circle of friends" in Dawan district through the national railway trunk line. 03/ Key construction projects of inter city rail transit in the Pearl River Delta It's all about Guangfo Internet Among these 17 projects, there are three key inter city rail construction projects in the Pearl River Delta. A total investment of 1.42 billion yuan is planned in 2022. The projects involve three cities: Guangzhou, Foshan and Dongguan. It is worth noting that the Foshan west station to Guangzhou south station section of the Guangzhou Foshan Ring Road, the Guangzhou south station to wanghong section of the Foshan Dongguan intercity line, and the newly started Foshan west station to Guangzhou north station section of the Pearl River Delta Intercity Guangzhou Foshan Ring Road (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Foshan West Ring Road"), the three key intercity tracks are all related to the interconnection of Guangzhou and Foshan, and the global co urbanization of Guangzhou and Foshan will continue to accelerate. The newly started Guangfo West Ring Road is the only section of Guangfo ring road that has not been started before.
