It's best to eat half an egg with high blood fat and egg yolk every day

Many people are afraid of high cholesterol. They often don't eat egg yolk when they eat eggs. Professor Ma Guansheng, director of the Department of nutrition and food hygiene, School of public health, Peking University, reminded that the fat, vitamins and minerals contained in eggs are mainly concentrated in the yolk. If you don't eat the yolk, you will waste a lot of nutrients. The fat in egg yolk is mainly monounsaturated fatty acid (oleic acid), and the content of phospholipid is also high, but the utilization rate of iron in egg yolk is only about 3%. The weight of eggs is generally 45-55g. According to the dietary guidelines for Chinese residents (2016), the average daily egg intake for adults is 40-50g, one egg per day and no more than 7 eggs per week. Ma Guansheng suggested that for patients with hyperlipidemia, the intake of egg yolk can be appropriately reduced, such as eating an egg white, but the egg yolk can be halved. And it's best to eat eggs every day instead of focusing on a meal. (outlook new era)
