The reporter learned from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of commerce that at the 24th Beijing Hong Kong Fair, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council signed a memorandum of cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong in 2022. One belt, one road and two other places, will focus on the construction of Beijing's international consumption center city, the "two districts" (the national service industry's open wider demonstration area and the Beijing free trade pilot area) and the "one belt and one road" in 2022. It is understood that the memorandum covers practical measures and cooperation projects: jointly promoting the construction of "two zones" in Beijing and holding a series of group activities into the Beijing Pilot free trade zone; Jointly hold Beijing Hong Kong consumer brand, fashion brand activities and Beijing Hong Kong brand construction Symposium; Promote Beijing enterprises, especially time-honored enterprises in Beijing, to further develop market space with the help of the exhibition platform of the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council; One belt, one road, one belt, one road, Beijing and Hongkong Asian financial forum to promote the business opportunities of Hongkong and Beijing. Jointly hold the "going out" investment promotion exchange between Beijing and Hong Kong to help Beijing enterprises expand the international market. Zhong Yongxi, general representative of mainland China of the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council, said that by building Beijing into an international consumption center city, Hong Kong can give full play to its channel role and better connect the domestic market with the international market. It is understood that Hong Kong is the destination where Beijing enterprises invest the most overseas. As of October 2021, the accumulated direct investment of Beijing enterprises in Hong Kong was US $39.327 billion, accounting for 46.2% of the city. From January to October 2021, Beijing enterprises increased their direct investment in Hong Kong by US $2.676 billion, accounting for 48.44% of the city, a year-on-year increase of 1.13 times.
