Since the beginning of the 21st century, Mount Emei has begun to implement the Jinding comprehensive renovation and upgrading project. In the first phase, Jinding golden hall, Mahavira hall, Yinding lying cloud Buddhist temple and ten sages' statues have been completed. The second phase is the restoration and reconstruction of Guanyin hall at the Baoding of Huazang temple. It has been constructed since 2016 and has been completed for five years. The newly built Guanyin hall at the Baoding of Huazang Temple includes the main hall of Guanyin hall and ancillary facilities such as Zen hall, sanghaliao room, Buddha chanting hall, bell and Drum Tower and five view hall. With a construction area of 1100 square meters, it adds another scenic spot to Mount Emei. It is also a specific measure for the scenic city to jointly build a world-class scenic spot and an important achievement to promote the expansion and quality of the scenic spot. (outlook new era)
