After the opening ceremony, the large-scale documentary "Why China" (Cantonese version) premiered in Hong Kong. The film was filmed by Shanghai Radio and Television Station over a period of three years, and is re presented in the form of a documentary with narrative scenes, showcasing the process of China's early civilization from the Paleolithic era to the formation of the unified Qin and Han dynasties. It is a brief history of China's early civilization that is adapted into film and television. Radio Hong Kong is the only public broadcasting and television institution in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, with multiple free to air television channels and broadcasting frequencies covering the entire Hong Kong region.
