In the future, cooperation and exchanges between the two countries will continue to deepen. Zhou Haoli first recalled his recent visit to Beijing with Indonesian President elect Prabowo. He said, "I think the current relationship between Indonesia and China is very good, and the development trend is good. We hope that the friendly relationship and policies between the two countries can continue to be maintained." Zhou Haoli emphasized that China's current investment in Indonesia is huge, and China's investment is very important for Indonesia. "In the future, the two governments will focus on comprehensive cooperation in areas such as infrastructure, mining, agriculture, forestry and fishery, digital economy, green economy, and health, as well as the construction of Indonesia's new capital, Nushantara," he said. Zhou Haoli said that in order to achieve carbon compliance commitments, the Indonesian government hopes to create an electric vehicle ecosystem. Indonesia has established electric vehicle cooperation relationships with multiple Chinese car companies such as SAIC Wuling, Chery, and BYD. "Chinese electric cars are very popular in Indonesia, and can be seen everywhere in Jakarta. My son bought a Chinese brand electric car," Zhou Haoli said. Zhou Haoli stated that in addition to learning about China's new energy ecological construction, Indonesia also hopes to achieve comprehensive poverty alleviation like China. He said that the Indonesian government had previously organized domestic village chiefs to visit China multiple times to study grassroots governance capabilities and rural economic development, ultimately helping villagers lift themselves out of poverty. Zhou Haoli believes that civil exchanges between Indonesia and China are very important. He stated that cooperation in the field of education between the two countries is constantly deepening, and more and more Indonesian and Chinese universities are establishing cooperative relationships. More and more Indonesian and Chinese university students are studying in each other's countries. The leaders of the two countries have also repeatedly discussed cooperation in vocational education and training. Zhou Haoli said that Chinese consumers' interest in Indonesian products has been increasing. In addition to bulk commodities, Indonesia's exports of coffee, bird's nest, fruits, and other goods to China continue to grow. He is very optimistic that China will achieve its 5% economic growth target this year, and he believes that there is still more potential for cooperation between the two sides to be explored. When it comes to regional cooperation, Zhou Haoli said that most ASEAN countries are developing countries. Indonesia and ASEAN will continue to strengthen cooperation with China, ultimately contributing to regional economic development and peace and stability. "I believe that we must create a peaceful and favorable environment for the region, so that cooperation in other fields can continue to improve.
