China Cultural Relics Exchange Center and Cartier Contemporary Art Foundation sign a cooperation framework agreement

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, the China Cultural Relics Exchange Center and the Cartier Contemporary Art Foundation recently signed a cooperation framework agreement in Beijing. The two sides reached a consensus on cooperation in academic exchanges, exhibition cooperation, information exchange, publicity and other related fields. Zhou Yu, Deputy Director of the China Cultural Relics Exchange Center, pointed out that the joint signing of a new cooperation framework agreement will guide the next path of cooperation between the two sides. The center and Cartier continue to maintain close communication and sincere cooperation, injecting new vitality into promoting practical cooperation in the field of cultural heritage between China and Europe. Pierre Reiner, Director of Image, Style, and Inheritance at Cartier, stated that based on successful past exchanges, we are pleased to continue our friendly cooperation with the China Cultural Relics Exchange Center, explore new opportunities to share professional knowledge, and further deepen friendly exchanges between the two sides. It is reported that in April 2015, the two sides signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement for the first time in Beijing. Since its signing, the China Cultural Relics Exchange Center has maintained close cooperation with Cartier, especially achieving positive results in exhibition information sharing, talent exchange, and training. 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, as well as the China France Cultural Tourism Year. Based on the latest cooperation intentions, the two sides have renewed the cooperation framework agreement, which will contribute to the continuation of China France friendship and further promote practical exchanges and cooperation in the field of cultural heritage between China and France.
