Don't use "busyness" to cover up "busyness and inaction"

2024-03-29

A year's plan lies in spring. At present, the various work tasks of the entire army are advancing vigorously, demonstrating vigorous vitality. When I was conducting research at the grassroots level, I heard a word often spoken by grassroots officers and soldiers, which is "busy". Indeed, we need to do a good job in combat readiness training and also plan for ideological education; We must not only implement the instructions and requirements of our superiors, but also focus on our own development... "Unable to wait", "unable to slow down", and "unable to sit still" have become common mental states among everyone. Busy is the embodiment of doing things and the foundation for achieving success. But sometimes it is necessary to ask: Where does busyness come from? Through observation, the author found that many officers and soldiers, especially some cadres and key personnel, need to focus on their main responsibilities and also handle daily affairs, often "keeping their eyes open and busy until they turn off the lights.". But there are also some comrades who, due to not mastering the correct work methods, fall into a vicious cycle of being "busy" and actually work in vain. There are also some comrades who are "following the trend" and seem busy every day, even staying up all night, but it is difficult to see actual results, and sometimes they don't even know what they have done. Upon careful analysis, it is found that these officers and soldiers hold a mentality of "there is hard work without merit". As long as they get busy, they perform well; With "hard work", one can feel at ease. The reason is that "whether or not to do it is a matter of attitude, and whether or not to do it well is a matter of ability." As long as "I do it", others cannot find many faults. Little did they know that the essence of this "busyness" is to cover up "inaction" with "busyness", reflecting that some officers and soldiers are perfunctory and overcrowded. At present, the integration of military combat readiness is advancing at a fast pace, with heavy tasks and high standards. How to work hard to achieve benefits, results, and combat effectiveness is a must answer question for every officer and soldier. To change this "busy and chaotic" state, it is necessary to have a correct work attitude and master scientific methods. To learn to "outline and lead", distinguish the importance, urgency, and priority of work, scientifically coordinate and plan, and strive for the best results in the shortest possible time; To learn to "unravel the cocoon", face various tasks, carefully organize the work list, and be good at adding and subtracting in work; To learn to be meticulous and thoughtful, after completing work every day, it is advisable to calm down and do a review, pay attention to learning and accumulation, learn from experience and lessons, find a suitable job position, work style and rhythm that suits oneself, be busy and orderly, and avoid making mistakes during busy times. Success is never achieved overnight, and behind it lies countless sweat and effort. No matter which position we are in, we must maintain a pragmatic style, full of enthusiasm, and persistently devote ourselves to work without stopping until we achieve our goals. When encountering difficulties and setbacks, one should maintain a posture of "riding the wind and breaking the waves", use the energy of "hitting the water in the middle", actively embrace challenges, self pressure, self-improvement, and self-improvement, continuously hone the ability and quality to withstand the test of wind and waves. In short, only by mastering the rhythm of "busyness", learning the methods of "busyness", and striving for the effectiveness of "busyness", can one be busy but not chaotic, busy but promising, and let youth shine in fulfilling their duties.
