On March 21st local time, the 22nd batch of Chinese peacekeeping medical teams to Lebanon were invited by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (Lebanon) to send medical personnel to the southeastern border area of Lebanon to carry out free clinics and drug donation activities. The village of Ibelseghi, located in southeastern Lebanon, is less than 10 kilometers away from the temporary border between Lebanon and Israel. It has experienced years of war and medical resources are scarce. On the 21st, our medical team dispatched 12 medical staff to form a medical assistance team in the fields of internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, etc., carrying various instruments and drugs, to provide free physical examinations and medical treatment to the local people in Ibelseghi Village. The 22nd batch of medical personnel from China's medical team to Liweihe are on their way: the medical room in the village has relatively basic conditions, and there is a medicine cabinet near the door, which is filled with various medicines. Every time we come to a free clinic, we replenish the missing medicines. In this free clinic, the medical staff of our medical team received 32 patients and distributed more than 90 boxes of various medicines. In addition to providing free consultations and donating drugs, medical staff also patiently explain various drug usage methods and precautions to local clinic doctors. To solve the problem of difficult medical treatment for villagers with limited mobility, our medical team has formed a patrol team to provide on-site medical services.
