Guo Jin, a National People's Congress representative from the Yi ethnic group, is the deputy director of the World Natural Heritage Museum in Chengjiang, Yunnan. Over the past 17 years of his career, he has been dedicated to paleontological research, participating in the application for the Chengjiang Fossil Site and the exhibition and management of the Chengjiang Fossil Site World Heritage Museum. With his professional expertise, he has given new life to the Chengjiang Biota fossils from billions of years ago. In order to make the knowledge in the museum more down-to-earth, Guo Jin led his team to borrow modern technological means to bring fossils to life through methods such as 3D reconstruction animation videos of ancient organisms, holographic projection, and fossil sensing interaction; By participating in the design of cultural and creative products, introducing AR intelligent somatosensory interactive devices, and 8K astronomical digital ball screen theaters, while exploring the "self-sufficiency" channels of museums, we promote the transformation of scientific research into popular science. During his tenure, Guo Jin conducted research on the difficulties in the development of museums, responded to public concerns, and proposed feasible opinions and suggestions. He actively fulfilled his representative duties in accordance with the law. This year, Guo Jin plans to bring the suggestions on strengthening the scientific research function of grassroots museums to the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and continue to endorse museums.
