Specifically, the estimated cumulative railway passenger volume is 99.59 million people; The estimated cumulative flow of personnel on highways is 2.184 billion people, including 1.998 billion people traveling on highways and non commercial small buses on ordinary national and provincial roads, and 186 million people traveling on highways for commercial purposes; The estimated cumulative passenger volume by waterway is 9.4 million people; The estimated cumulative passenger volume of civil aviation is 18.04 million. Recently, various regions have entered the peak of return trips, and transportation departments have taken multiple measures to enrich transportation capacity and improve service quality, making the return journey of Spring Festival travel safer, more convenient, and more warm. On February 17th, the national railway is expected to send 16.2 million passengers and arrange for 2256 additional passenger trains, setting a new record for railway Spring Festival transportation capacity. Railway departments across the country will coordinate the use of high-speed rail and conventional speed resources, increase capacity investment, and promptly add passenger trains to popular line sections, striving to meet the needs of passengers for return travel. During the Spring Festival holiday, the national public security and traffic management departments closely focused on the central task of ensuring safety and smooth traffic, studied and planned in advance, carefully organized and deployed, strengthened road control, and created a good road traffic environment for celebrating the peaceful Spring Festival. As of 19:00 on February 17th, the overall road traffic safety situation in China is stable and orderly, and no major road traffic accidents have been reported. According to data from the Emergency Management Department, as of 19:00 on February 17th, the overall security situation in China during the Spring Festival holiday remained stable, with no major disasters or accidents occurring.
