GDP data from 31 provinces in 2023 has been released, achieving significant leaps in the total economic output of multiple provinces

With the intensive convening of the local two sessions, various regions have successively released their 2023 economic development "transcripts". As of now, all 31 provinces have released their GDP growth rates for 2023 and announced their expected GDP growth targets for 2024. According to the data released by 31 provinces, in 2023, 17 provinces had a year-on-year GDP growth rate that surpassed the national average, all exceeding 5.2%. They are Xizang, Hainan, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Gansu, Jilin, Chongqing, Shandong, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Hubei, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hebei, Liaoning and Qinghai. From the perspective of GDP in various regions, Guangdong's GDP has exceeded 13 trillion yuan for the first time, while Shandong and Zhejiang's GDP have exceeded 9 trillion yuan and 8 trillion yuan respectively. In addition, several provinces have achieved significant leaps in their total economic output. Among them, Sichuan has entered the "6 trillion yuan club" for the first time, Hunan has reached a new level of 5 trillion yuan, Liaoning, Chongqing, and Yunnan have all broken through the 3 trillion yuan mark for the first time, and Guizhou has also reached a new level of 2 trillion yuan.
