It is reported that by the end of 2023, after more than four months of promotion, the first phase of the governance of TV "nesting doll" fees and complex operations has achieved the goal of "watching live streaming on the power, reducing fee packages by 50%, and improving consumer transparency". Cable TV and IPTV startup advertisements will be completely cancelled, and the startup time will be reduced from the maximum of 118 seconds before governance to no more than 35 seconds. In terms of reducing fee packages, various types of fee packages have been significantly reduced by more than 50%, with cable TV reduced by 72%, IPTV reduced by 79%, and internet TV reduced by 55%. A single terminal has been reduced from the highest 86 fee packages before governance to no more than 6 fee packages per terminal now.
