Focusing on fighting the three iconic battles is the main lever for creating a new miracle in China's sand prevention and control in the new era, and the main direction and core task of the "Three North" project in the new era. According to the overall planning requirements of the "Three North" project, China will complete the target task of 600 million acres by 2030, including 200 million acres of desertification control and 400 million acres of ecological protection and restoration achievements. The three iconic battles of the Yellow River's "Several Character Bend" campaign, the annihilation of the two major sandy areas of Horqin and Hunshandak, and the interception of the Hexi Corridor Taklamakan Desert edge are the top priority of the "Three North" project in the new era.
