The meeting voted to dismiss Huang Liming from his position as Deputy Prosecutor General, member of the Procuratorial Committee, and prosecutor of the Guangdong Provincial People's Procuratorate. The meeting also approved other personnel appointment and removal matters. At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress issued appointment letters to newly appointed state officials and held a constitutional oath. Huang Chuping emphasized that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress should further strengthen the review and guidance of legislative work in cities with districts, promote the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of cities at or above the prefecture level to focus on the specific deployment of the Provincial Party Committee and the work measures of the Municipal Party Committee, adhere to the "small incision" legislative topic selection, and work hard on "small but precise" to prepare a good legislative plan for 2024, and better play the regulatory, leading, safeguarding, and promoting role of legislation in the economic and social development of the region.
