Forward looking command information system intelligence trend

Liu Kui and Yao Chi's Introduction: Command information systems are the anthropomorphic brain and nerves of modern combat systems. The intelligence of command information systems is an important support for winning future intelligent wars. With the advancement of information and intelligent technology, as well as the transformation of weapons, equipment, and combat forces, command information systems have shown an intelligent trend of autonomous combat decision-making, ubiquitous network access, cloud based information services, and ecological system operation. Intelligent decision-making, limited autonomous command information systems should be auxiliary decision-making systems, but existing command information systems are mostly auxiliary operation systems or auxiliary management systems. In the formation of combat plans, formulation of action plans and other command activities, command information systems cannot effectively assist people, let alone replace them. With the breakthrough of intelligent technology, autonomous and semi autonomous decision-making in command information systems will become a reality, mainly in three ways. Task planning decision-making. Based on the battlefield situation and combat tasks, the system is used to plan and design combat operations, addressing issues such as target matching, combat force configuration, maneuver route generation, and determination of attack methods. Although the current task planning is still powerless in addressing more macro and universal joint combat action planning, it has shown significant advantages and prospects at the platform and unit levels, and can now address joint action planning between heterogeneous weapon platforms of different branches of the military. The joint task planning system of foreign armies is mainly used for collaborative task planning of various types of fighter jets, drones, early warning aircraft, refueling aircraft, helicopters, and other military branches. Simulation based decision-making. The application of simulation technology to simulate and optimize the selection of combat plans is an important direction for intelligent decision-making. The advancement of modern simulation technology enables the realistic reproduction of battlefield environment, combat operations, and engagement processes in virtual space, thereby increasing the credibility of combat plan analysis and evaluation. The development of modern digital twin technology has directly given rise to parallel advanced simulation of the battlefield. By dynamically simulating and deducing the contingency plan during the implementation phase of the operation, it can provide military entities with advance practical situations for combat operations over a period of time. In this way, commanders can anticipate changes in the future battlefield situation in real time, be proactive and have the first hand. Virtual real linkage decision-making. A computer simulation system is ultimately a post evaluation type military chess system, and in order for the system to directly provide people with decision-making options, it is necessary to find ways to upgrade the evaluation type military chess to a decision-making type military chess. The modern intelligent chess system, represented by the "Alpha Dog", has the ability to evaluate macro chess games and micro placement. It can evaluate the probability of winning or losing chess games on different boards and find the best placement position for the next move based on the current board. This provides ideas for the development of decision oriented military chess. By utilizing the macro chess game evaluation capability, the overall deployment of combat forces can be automatically generated based on enemy situations; By utilizing the ability of micro placement, one can determine how to take each step of the enemy versus us confrontation. The solutions formed in decision based military chess can be timely transmitted and mapped to real space. With every battle and step taken by the commander, military chess can provide reference, achieving true auxiliary decision-making and autonomous decision-making
