Chengdu, Xinhua News Agency (Reporter Li Like) The 2023 National Excellent Dance Drama Invitation Exhibition, hosted by the Cultural and Artistic Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department, the Chinese Dancers Association, and the Propaganda Department of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, opened in Chengdu on the evening of November 19th. On November 19, 2023, the opening dance performance of the National Excellent Dance Drama Invitation Exhibition "Giant Panda" was performed at the Chengdu City Concert Hall. Xinhua News Agency reporter Jiang Hongjing's exhibition and performance works have collected 10 excellent dance dramas that have won the "Five One Project" Award for Spiritual Civilization Construction, the Wenhua Award, the Chinese Dance "Lotus Award" Dance Drama Award in recent years, and have been created in the past two years. They will hold 24 performances, continuously build a high-level dance drama exhibition and performance platform, promote the prosperity and development of the performing arts market, and bravely climb new heights in literature and art. The participating works include a number of revolutionary themed works such as "Flag", "Red Women's Army", and "Absolute Test", as well as a number of realistic themed masterpieces such as "Giant Panda", "Oriental Harbor", and "Dragon Boat". The relevant plays will be staged successively at Sichuan Grand Theatre, Chengdu City Concert Hall, and Chengdu High tech Performing Arts Theater. During the exhibition, supporting activities such as the National Dance Drama Creation Seminar, Famous Lectures, Creative Style Selection, Outstanding Actor Roadshows, and Academy (School) Creative Exchange will also be organized.
