On November 17-19, 2023, the 5th General Meeting of the Logistics Branch of Guangdong Provincial Institute of Operations Research, the 5th Council of the 1st, and the International Academic Conference on "Digital Intelligence Logistics and Supply Chain Management" were successfully held at Shenzhen University of Technology. The International Academic Conference on "Digital Intelligent Logistics and Supply Chain Management - Digitally Empowered Supply Chain Value Reconstruction to Promote High Quality Economic Development (DILSCM 2023)" jointly organized by the Guangdong Provincial Institute of Operations Research and the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Logistics and Supply Chain Innovation Alliance aims to jointly explore the achievements of digital intelligent logistics and supply chain management and their applications in real-life scenarios, as well as the value reconstruction of digital empowered supply chains How to promote high-quality economic development and other related issues. As one of the main organizers, the Logistics Branch of the Guangdong Operations Research Society (hereinafter referred to as the "Logistics Branch") has made efforts in the following two aspects: firstly, comprehensively preparing for the fifth member conference and the fifth council of the Logistics Branch; The second is to actively participate in the preparation of the international academic conference on "Digital Intelligence Logistics and Supply Chain Management", such as participating in the organization of conference paper submissions and selection, statistics of attendees, arrangement of vehicle transportation and accommodation arrangements, conference promotion and reporting, etc. At the opening ceremony, Cao Bingyuan, Chairman of the Guangdong Institute of Operations Research, Lin Zhijun, Chairman of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Logistics and Supply Chain Innovation Alliance, Ruan Shuangchen, President of Shenzhen University of Technology, Yi Zelong, Representative of Shenzhen University, and Tang Qiangrong, Vice President of Guangzhou Institute of Navigation delivered speeches. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Wang Shufeng, Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Institute of Operations Research and President of the Logistics Branch. Subsequently, Academician Zhang Jingzhong of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Lu Weisheng of the University of Hong Kong, Professor Chen Dongshen of the University of Science and Technology of Macau, Professor Li Zhongfei of the Southern University of Science and Technology, General Manager Tang Rongzhu of Guangdong Airport Group Logistics Co., Ltd., and Vice President Fan Guanghui of JD Logistics Technology delivered keynote speeches. Then, communication and discussion will be conducted around the theme of "Theory and Practice of Digital Empowered Supply Chain Management" through roundtable forums, sub venue presentations, and other methods.
