The Secretary General of the World Internet Conference, Ren Xianliang, summarized it with the "three firsts": for the first time, the "Ten Year Commemorative Honor" was awarded to friendly individuals and institutions who actively participated in summit activities, made outstanding contributions to summit preparation, and the construction of international organizations of the conference; The first Internet Science and Technology Museum officially opened, which is the world's first large-scale science and technology museum with the theme of the Internet. "Currently, 60% of global computer technology patents, 40% of artificial intelligence patents, and 33% of semiconductor patent applications come from China," said Deng Hongsen, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization at the meeting. The rapid development of the digital economy in China is evident to all. The latest data shows that the number of internet users in China has reached 1.079 billion, with over 3 million 5G base stations built. The global innovation index has jumped to 12th place, and the digital economy accounts for over 40% of GDP.
