China releases the latest World Open Index

The 6th Hongqiao International Economic Forum released the "World Open Report 2023" on the 5th. The report shows that the World Open Index in 2022 was 0.7542, a decrease of 5.4% compared to 0.7975 in 2008, making it the second lowest level since 2008. From 2008 to 2022, China achieved significant results in expanding its opening up to the outside world, with the opening up index rising from 0.6789 to 0.7517, ranking among the top in the world.
