Da Mei Xiao Xiang Large Series Landscape Painting Exhibition Opened at the China Art Museum

On October 28th, the "Green Waters and Green Mountains are the Golden Mountains and Silver Mountains" large-scale series of landscape art exhibitions in Xiaoxiang, sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese Artists Association, the Chinese Art Museum, and the Hunan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, opened at the Chinese Art Museum. The exhibition takes the ecological civilization construction layout of "One River, One Lake, Three Mountains, and Four Rivers" proposed by the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Government as the main theme, showcasing the construction of a modern new Hunan with harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. It is reported that the creation project of "Da Mei Xiao Xiang" was led by Wang Jinshi and collaborated with dozens of artists, taking three years to complete. The exhibition focuses on seven long scrolls of landscape paintings, including "Xiangjiang River Goes North", "Symphony of the Great River", "Tianxia Dongting", "Zirun Jiangshan", "Yuanshui Flows Rhyme Xiaoxiang", "Lishui Magnificent", and "Colorful Liuyang River". The exhibition also launched 35 single art works depicting Wuling Xuefeng Mountain, the Nanling Mountain Mountain and Luoxiao Mufu Mountain. The work expresses the beauty of Xiaoxiang's mountains and waters, culture, and times with a broad perspective, realm, and emotions, showcasing the unique style and spiritual spirit of Xiaoxiang's mountains and waters in the new era. After the opening ceremony, academic seminars were also held for this exhibition, where experts and scholars in the field of art research from Beijing, Hunan, and other places discussed and exchanged ideas on the historical context, historical significance, artistic construction, and important influence of Xiaoxiang's landscape creation in the new era. The seminar was chaired by Deng Qingke, the first level inspector and secretary-general of the Hunan Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
